Standard chequebook CTS 2010 by RBI

As per RBI guidelines, non CTS 2010 Standard cheques will be withdrawn from circulation by 31-Dec-2012. Chequebooks issued, by the Bank, only after Aug 2011 are CTS 2010 compliant.
If your chequebook has been indented prior to August 2011, 
you are requested to indent for new
chequebook at the earliest to avoid any inconvenience.

  1. Paper (At Manufacturing Stage) 
  2. Watermark (At Manufacturing Stage)
  3. VOID pantograph (At Printing Stage)
  4. Bank’s logo printed with invisible ink (ultra-violet ink) (At Printing Stage)
  5. Field placements of a cheque
  6. Mandating colours and background
  7. Clutter free background
  8. Prohibiting alterations / corrections on cheques
  9. Printing of account field
  10. Use of UV feature on cheque images

CTS 2010 chequebook has the following distinguishing features :
  • "Please sign above" is mentioned on cheque leaf on the right hand side bottom.
